Microsoft has confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available on day one on Xbox Game Pass. The news, which was announced by Xbox Wire Editor-in-Chief Joe Skrebels, comes after months of internal debate at Microsoft over whether or not to add the game to the subscription service.
“We’re excited to confirm that Game Pass members will be able to jump into Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on day one with Game Pass,” Skrebels wrote in a blog post. “This is a huge addition to the Game Pass library, and we’re thrilled to be able to offer it to our members.”
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is the latest installment in the popular first-person shooter franchise. The game is set in a near-future world where the lines between reality and simulation are blurred.
