It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Janet Hardie Harvey, a former administrator of the Irvine Nature Center and a dedicated advocate for the Johnston Square neighborhood. Janet passed away peacefully on April 13, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Janet's passion for her community was evident in all that she did. As an administrator at the Irvine Nature Center, she worked tirelessly to promote environmental education and conservation. She was also a steadfast supporter of the Johnston Square neighborhood, where she lived for many years.

Janet was a true friend to all who knew her. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, and she had a knack for making everyone feel welcome. Her infectious laughter and positive attitude will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Janet's legacy will live on through the many lives she touched. Her dedication to her community has left a lasting impact on Irvine and Johnston Square. We extend our deepest condolences to Janet's family and friends during this difficult time.
